Canadians add seven Advanced horses to the ranks – Go Canada! Events

The Canadian roster of Advanced horses has just deepened with the addition of seven who proved themselves this weekend at Richland Park Horse Trials in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Derek di Grazia’s cross-country course at The Jaguar Land Rover Bromont CCI3* ran relatively problem free on Saturday, Three new pairs (Emily Beshear and Shame on the Moon; Matthew Brown and Super Socks BCF; and Waylon Roberts and Kelecyn Cognac) enter the Bromont record books joining eight riders in the past five years to make time at Bromont with the only male rider of the group being Canada’s Cody Sturgess and his mare Imperial Meloday. Waylon Roberts – 4th place and top Canadian at Fair Hill 2014 events,2015 Pan Am Games,Canadian Eventing,Events,Riders

As the last pair on the wait list, Waylon Roberts and his mount Kelecyn Cognac almost didn’t get to compete at the CCI2* competition at the Dutta Corp. Fair Hill International this past weekend. As a last minute addition to the field, they did not disappoint. With a stellar performance they remained on their dressage score of 48.7 and placed fourth in a field of 114.
