Who is the most stylish jumper of them all? – Royal Indoor Eventing Galleries,Missed it?

  Last weekend, I was at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair watching the Horseware Indoor Eventing Challenge. Michael Jung (GER) added another Eventing title to his win, seizing the victory aboard Shawn Ferguson’s (CAN) Cruising Guy. Michael also made history becoming the first rider who is not a Canadian to win this title. Rachel McDonough (CAN) and her longtime mount, Irish Rhythm finished in 2nd with a faultless final score. Dreamcrest International – VIDEO Break Today's video

Dreamcrest Horse Trials will be running an event from Entry to Intermediate level this Sunday, in Port Perry, Ontario. Dreamcrest is one of only nine venues in Canada, that hosts an event up to Intermediate and is owned by Olympicans Kelly Plitz and Ian Roberts. Their son, Waylon Roberts, is a double Pan Am medalist. In addition to their riding accolades, this family knows how to put on a great show and year after year it one of Ontario’s best venues. Canadians add seven Advanced horses to the ranks – Go Canada! Events

The Canadian roster of Advanced horses has just deepened with the addition of seven who proved themselves this weekend at Richland Park Horse Trials in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Some seriously exciting news for Canadian Eventing…this weekend, at Richland Park Horse Trials in Kalamazoo, Michigan, six Canadian horse/rider combinations will be making their Advanced upgrade. After such a strong group of horses and riders delivered solid and consistent performances for the selectors to choose from for the 2015 Pan American Games,  it looks like this group is moving up to the next level. We are happy to report that we received a text from Canada’s superstar Jessica Phoenix last night letting us know that she will be making the trip to Canada this morning via air ambulance. Jess says. “Thank you to everyone for their love and support through all of this.” Jess has been recovering in the hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey, from injuries she sustained after her rotational fall with Exultation on Saturday, May 9, on the CCI2* cross country course at the Jersey Fresh International Three-Day Event. Jess had laparoscopic surgery (minimally invasive) to repair liver damage on Saturday….

Michael Jung is number one in the FEI world rankings Riders

Michael Jung makes debut at Eventing world number one Michael Jung (GER), who in 2012 became the first Eventing athlete to hold the European, world and Olympic titles simultaneously after scoring individual and team gold at the London 2012 Olympic Games, has jumped to the top of the FEI World Eventing Rankings for the first time in his career. Day two of dressage at Rolex Kentucky brought out the best tests and the top riders in full force. If the draw is random I don’t know but it seems like the best was saved for the last.
