Top eventers from four nations are heading to the equestrian mecca of Wellington FL for the $50,000 Wellington Eventing Showcase, presented by Asheville Regional Airport to take place Friday and Saturday. Eddy Sans wins debut Rolex Indoor Eventing at the CHI Geneva

The debut of the Rolex Indoor Eventing was a crowd pleasing and innovative success at the Concours Hippique International de Genève Saturday night in Switzerland. France dominated the podium with two of the top three placings but certainly not by much as the top three riders were all separated by less than one second. To win the class, the objective was to be closest to the optimum time of 118 seconds without jumping faults. No time faults were added if riders came in under the optimum time. Invites are out for a $50,000 Eventing Showcase in Wellington, FL

A lucky group of eventers started receiving emails today with an invitation to the Wellington Eventing Showcase, January 30-31 at the Equestrian Village in Wellington, FL. Riders may show up to two horses to compete for $50,000 in prizes. Approximately only  30 horse and rider combinations will be invited. This is not an FEI, USEF or USEA recognized show. The dressage test will be the CIC*** Test A, and all show jumps and cross-country jumps will be advanced dimensions. The show jumping course designer will be Richard Jeffery. Nations to battle for Indoor Eventing supremacy in Sweden

Competition will be fierce on Thursday night in Solna, Sweden when sixteen eventers from four different nations will be battling it out for Indoor Eventing supremacy. This class is part of the Sweden International Horse Show at Friends arena. The teams of four will represent Sweden, Great Britain, New Zealand and Germany. Twenty-two-year-old Jessica Manson withstood the pressure applied by Olympian and former Adelaide champion Megan Jones, posting a super clear round aboard her 13-year-old Australian Stock Horse, Legal Star, to win the second leg of the FEI Classics™ at the Australian International 3 Day Event. Manson set up her victory yesterday by producing the best cross country run, adding just 2.8 time penalties. The Australian Stock horse is known as “the breed for every need” and Jessica Manson’s grey gelding, Legal Star, came to the fore when needed today on cross country at the FEI Classics™ in Adelaide.
