How does your horse sees the world? – VIDEO Break

We all know that horses do not see the same as humans. But how exactly do things look through your horse’s eyes? A horse’s field of view is almost panoramic, but has several blind spots. Horses cannot see immediately in front of them, for distance of up to two meters, or directly behind them. Their sight is very sensitive to contrasts and they need several minutes to adapt during sudden changes in light intensity. But then they can see perfectly in darkness at night. Their colour vision also seems different from ours. This interesting video is designed to give you a preview of how your horse sees thanks to a collaboration between scientists and designers.
