Doug’s just doing what he does best 😍 He was a legend over the weekend! Dressage: After a super tense warm up, he actually got into the dressage arena and gave me a half decent test. The judge was very tough though, but gave us lots of feedback on what we need to do to improve our marks. Showjumping: Showjumping has been something that we have struggled with a bit but over the last few weeks I finally feel it’s coming together. I’m not missing my distances any where near as much and this weekend he did a lovely clear round. Cross country: The ground was quite hard and we had a couple of pretty dodge distances. It was definitely not our best round and we had a few communication issues as he just wanted to 10000 miles an hour 😂. We managed to get around safely and clear and under time. Over all lots to work on but we ended up finishing on our dressage scoring and placing 4th in a very competitive field. I’m extremely lucky to have such a magnificent partner to move up the grades on. Photo Credit: Ian Vaughan. Huck Making the 2** xcountry look tiny. Had a good weekend but ended up pulling out during xcountry. The grounds were so hard due to the drought 😞 I also found out my grandpa had passed away before going on course…RIP to the funniest man I knew. I will be taking a little break to grieve ❤️ ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ If you enjoy these photos then follow @aussie.eventerr for more Eventing pics and to follow our journey! ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Sponsored by @dublinclothingau an authentic equestrian brand that was created by riders for riders who know what riders need! #teamdublin ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Photo taken by @lisazoebubble 📸 ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ #horse #horses #thoroughbred #racehorse #riding #eventing #eventingnation #eventinglife #dressage #xcountry #showjumping #love #purple #aussie #australia #huckleberry #huck #bee #life #horseriding #horsesofinstagram #training #imyourhuckleberry#equine #equestrian #equestrianlife
