Goresbridge Go For Sold Sale: [Website] [Catalogue] [Performance footage]

The Goresbridge Go For Gold Select Sale of Eventers is only weeks away, taking place Monday through Wednesday on November 12th-13th. Over the next few of weeks, the writers at www.eventingconnect.today will be sharing their wishlists from this world-class auction. There are some very interesting prospects and we invite you to check out the catalogue and share what you look for in a new horse. Which of these mounts would you want in your barn? Email me your choice and explain why?

Lot 002 – Dario Fo

Most eventers dream of one day competing at a CCI4* event but finding the mount to do so with can be a challenge. Well if the upper levels are where you want to be, you should add this dreamy gelding to your barn. Lot 002 – Dario Fo, a 6-year-old gelding, is the epitome of a four-star prospect. What really caught my eye about this gelding is his freakishly HUGE and careful jump. But his talent doesn’t end there – he has a swinging walk, floaty trot, ground covering canter and an efficient gallop.  You really cannot fault his athletic potential and from the video footage, he seems to be plenty brave and easy going.

He has been carefully and slowly produced competing in and placing well in the Young Event Horse Series last year. He has since show jumped at unaffiliated level. Plus he brought home a 6th place finish the EI100 at Kilguilkey House, his only event run to date. Finding such a talented youngster with a solid upbringing is a rare opportunity that I’d personally love to bid on.

Take a look at the catalogue and share with us the horses on your wish list, or if you are in the market… make the trip to Ireland and add a quality horse to your barn.
