Simple but game-changing grooming tip: The number one grooming tool

Your average equestrian spends more time grooming horses than riding them. Over the years we all learn new, exciting and revolutionary grooming tips and tactics. Check back regularly for more grooming tips as we are on the hunt for the best.

When you think of grooming tools the first things that probably come to mind are a curry comb, hoof pick, rough brush and a soft brush. But one of the most helpful and multi-purpose grooming tools you NEED is a grooming glove. Its use is similar to a curry comb but it is easier to wield and can be used on more sensitive areas such as your horse’s legs. Some super uses for one are:

  • Remove dried clay poultice from your horse’s leg to save a trip to the wash stall.
  • Put shampoo directly on the glove to save money because sponges absorb shampoo but grooming gloves do not.
  • Use your grooming glove to wipe hay and shavings off of yourself before you leave the barn.
  • Turn on stiff faucets with that extra grip.

So what are you waiting for? Click below to order your grooming glove!
