Friday’s Fashion –  Show shirts to own the 2018 season

Competition season is underway in some parts of the world and will be here before you know it in others. On the weekends your #OOTD is your show clothes. Kick your horse show wardrobe up a few levels by trading in your boring, plain white, show shirt for something more stylish. Why not something with a little lace? Valentine Equine makes elegant and edgy show shirts that are high quality and reasonably priced. I have been wearing Valentine Equine for nearly three seasons and I absolutely love all of their products. Their shirts fit like they were custom made for me and the material feels extremely comfortable to ride in. Valentine Equine is based in Australia but ships internationally. I received my order in North America with no issue, so don’t hesitate to place your order.

You need these show shirts this season:

Long Sleeve Lace ShirtThis shirt is absolutely breathtaking. The lace sleeves give it a regal look and will keep you from sweating your arms off. When jackets are excused on hot show days, this will be the perfect shirt to wear down centreline or into stadium. As an added use, you could easily get away with wearing this shirt to a formal outing with a nice pair of dressy pants.

Athlete Shirt: Make this chic shirt your go-to top for show day. The lace sides, short sleeves and bib provide maximum breathability, keeping you cool on smothering hot days. The sport lyrca lining gives the shirt a fantastic fit on every body type. Best of all, the collar does up with snaps you can easily push closed, even with gloves on. No more awkwardly attempting to button up your collar before giving up and asking your groom for help. Order yourself at least two of these shirts for the upcoming summer season, they are well worth it.

Michaela Shirt: Whether you are riding in a lesson, at a schooling show or in a big event this shirt will set you apart for your great style. The slick white collar, light blue body and navy sleeves with lace embellishments make this shirt a real eye-catcher. Beware though, the material is so lightweight that you might have a moment of panic mid-ride that you forgot to put on a shirt. My Micahela shirt is probably my all-time favourite article of clothing because the material feels non-existent when I wear it but I look like a runway model on horseback. You cannot survive the year without this shirt in your wardrobe.
