The Goresbridge Go For Gold Select Sale of Eventers is only days away, taking place Monday through Wednesday of this coming week (November 13th-15th). Over the last few of weeks, the writers at www.eventingconnect.today have been sharing their wishlists from this world-class auction. There are some very interesting prospects and we invite you to check out the catalogue and share what you look for in a new horse. Which of these mounts would you want in your barn? Email me your choice and explain why?

Lot 002 – Match My Class

Today is my birthday and I would love if someone would buy me this stunning 6-year-old gelding, Lot 002 – Match My Class. This gelding is so pretty he would make the perfect Breyer doll. But he is so much more than just a good looking horse. With 76% Thoroughbred blood, Match My Class is the epitome of an upper-level eventer.  He has a swinging walk, floaty trot and a powerful canter. Over show jumps, he is ultra careful and displays textbook jumping form. On cross-country, he appears to be a total beast; full of bravery, plenty of scope and a massive gallop stride.

During the 2017 season, he demonstrated that he is one of the top youngsters in Ireland by bringing home numerous top ten finishes at prestigious national one-star level competitions. It is no surprise that he is such a superstar already, he is from the producers and consigners of this year’s Burghley CCI4*. Match My Class definitely has the potential to win Burghley before his career is over and by the time the 2020 Tokyo Olympics roll around, he will be 9-years-old and team material.

Take a look at the catalogue and share with us the horses on your wish list, or if you are in the market… make the trip to Ireland and add a quality horse to your barn.
