Over the next couple of weeks, the writers at www.eventingconnect.today are going to share their wishlists from the Goresbridge Go For Gold Select Sale of Eventers. There are some very interesting prospects and we invite you to check out the catalogue and share what you look for in a new horse. Which of these mounts would you want in your barn? Email me your choice and explain why?

Lot 005 – GRC Cu Chulainn

My birthday is in November and I would really love if someone would buy me Lot OO5- GRC Cu Chulainn as my present. This 5-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding is a lovely mover, with unlimited scope and an easy going attitude. From watching the footage of him jumping it is clear that he is a super careful jumper, clearing the fences with air to spare.

He might not be the flashiest looking horse but he would definitely catch everyone’s attention once they saw him in action. He should score top shelf marks in dressage with his floaty and fluid gaits. He would never let you down by having a sloppy rail with his super tight front end. On cross-country he seems extremely keen and rather quick on his feet . His gallop is seriously ground covering, so making time should be a breeze on this leggy guy.

GRC Cu Chulainn is also bred to be a four-star eventer. His grandsire is the famous Clover Hill, who has thrown countless top eventers. Meanwhile, his damsire is Flagmount King another popular event horse sire. He also already has show experience competing in 1.10 meter show jumping classes.

The sky is the limit with this exceptional horse. However big your dreams are, this mount could help make them come true. Dream big and bid on this future medalist!

Take a look at the catalogue and share with us the horses on your wish list, or if you are in the market… make the trip to Ireland and add a quality horse to your barn.
