Dreamcrest Horse Trials will be running an event from Entry to Intermediate level this Sunday, in Port Perry, Ontario. Dreamcrest is one of only nine venues in Canada, that hosts an event up to Intermediate and is owned by Olympicans Kelly Plitz and Ian Roberts. Their son, Waylon Roberts, is a double Pan Am medalist. In addition to their riding accolades, this family knows how to put on a great show and year after year it one of Ontario’s best venues. Strzegom FEI World Cup Eventing Final 2009 cross-country action – VIDEO Break

Strzegom, Poland hosted the 2009 FEI World Cup Eventing CIC3* final and this weekend they will be hosting the 2o15 European Young Rider CCI2* Championships. In 2009, Michael Jung (GER) and La Biosthetique – Sam FBW were the World Cup champions followed by Frank Ostholt (GER) and Air Jordan 2 in 2nd place and Clayton Fredericks (AUS) and Ben Along time rounded out the top three. Richland H.T. action from the weekend: [Website][Results] Buck Davidson and Ballynoe Castle RM added another win to their record this weekend in the CIC3* at Richland Park Horse Trials in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Eventing legends return to competition for charity – VIDEO Break

At 67-years-young, Jane Holderness-Roddam (GBR) competed Tiger’s Eye II (aka Bill) in the BE100 Open at West Wiltshire Equestrian Centre on Tuesday, to raise money for for equine welfare charities the Brooke and World Horse Welfare. Jane became the first British female to win an Olympic gold medal in Eventing, when she won team gold at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics. She also won Badminton in 1968 and Burghley in 1972. Her mount for this charitable event, 20-year-old, British Sport Horse, Tiger’s II, was ridden by Alexander Peternell (RSA) to the four-star level. So far, she has raised £10,512.70 but it is not too…

Richland CIC3* test ride by Ian Stark – VIDEO Break

Ian Stark (GBR), the course designer at Richland Horse Trials, also rode the CIC3* dressage test ride. Before course designing, Ian competed at five Olympic Games, winning three team silver medals and one individual silver medal. He also has won nine European Championship medals, and three World Championship medals. He retired from competing in 2007 after completing the Rolex CCI4* on Full Circle II, where he placed 11th. However, it was a semi- retirement and he did compete up to the three-star level on, Looks Similar, until 2012. His last FEI competition was in 2013, where he completed at the…

This weekend, in France at Le Pin au Haras, there will be a five FEI divisions running, including a CCI3*, and a CCI2* for ponies. It is hard to get enough of watching little and very talented jockeys riding ponies around big and technical cross-country courses. Hartpury CIC3* cross-country action – VIDEO Break


William Fox-Pitt (GBR) and Bay My Hero, a 12-year-old, Irish Sport Horse, gelding won the  Hartpury International Horse Trials CIC3*, on a score of 37.9. This pair won the 2014 Rolex CCI4* and are entered in the Burghley CCI4* this fall. Finishing behind William, was Sarah Bullimore (GBR) on Reve Du Rouet in 2nd place, and rounding out the top three was Ibby Macphearson on Ballingowan Diamond.
